November mix part 1 and 2

I'm working on some promotional mixes that simulate how I might play from early on , through peak time and heading into afterhours. These two cover early and peak-time. The next mixes will be the best yet and will cover afterhours. Later I'll be making an all mid-tempo series to promote how I like to rock in alternative styles.

Rhythm Thing

I changed the name of my weekly from Rhythm and Blue to Rhythm Thing. It basically opens up the music policy so we can play whatever we want and we can have a little more fun with the concept. Here is a new promo mix for the night.

I've been getting a lot of excellent house cuts lately so I've been putting them into mixes so I can listen to them while I'm driving around. I think it'd best to really know your music when you play gigs. This is one of my techniques for learning my records quickly.

Rhythm and Blue sample mix

I've started my new weekly party called Rhythm and Blue. It features soulful, funky, downtempo music of all styles. There is a promo mix on My Space. Check it out HERE Just look for the link under the "About Me" section.

More stuff coming soon: I've got a 5 hour set that I recorded last week; I just have to cut it up into 1 hour chunks. I'm also working on a second promo mix featuring a bunch of amazing tracks.
